God created our emotions and Jesus is big enough to hold all of them…even more than one at a time.
Today held great joy reuniting with Bess and Drew and listening to their stories from Ireland.
It also held great sadness in saying goodbye to a sweet friend of pretty much our whole town.
I snuck out of the receiving line when I was sure there was going to be a rainbow overhead.
I’m still convinced it’s up there somewhere and can make myself see it if I look hard enough.
Karen, thank you for always having a smile on your face and pointing me to Christ!
This song is comforting my grieving heart this week…
“But you, Son of Man
Love Incarnate
You don’t see from far away
You come, sit with me
And grieve with me
And I see tears on Your face”
