Twenty-six years ago, two young kids (well, we didn't think we were kids, but let's face it...we were!) said, "I do" to what lies ahead. I didn't really know what all that entailed, I just knew I wanted to be that cute boy's wife...forever! Hooray for a day to celebrate and cheers to a quaint little restaurant in Old Town Alexandria with sweet table decorations. 

Thankful for God's grace carrying us this far and the hope of our tomorrows together.

A new year brings excitement and eager anticipation for what lies ahead...but sometimes, if I’m honest, a little bit of apprehension too. Wondering what joys will surprise me ... or what may catch me off guard in the not so good way. Perhaps life is fullest when it’s full of twists and turns making faith a necessity. While I can’t know all this year holds, I do know my trustworthy Father holds it in His most capable hands. I have loved looking back at my past 365 projects and seeing His faithfulness! Looking forward to looking up, paying attention to the little things (that really are the big things after all) and counting God’s good and perfect gifts this year!
