I miss this view on Sunday mornings, but am very glad we had it for a season.

It was a lovely day and perfect spot for email writing and hanging out with Emma while she worked!

It was an extra special treat to get to have lunch in the private dining room with these VIPs!

After some great conversation and eating all (well, almost all) my vegetables, 

I was so happy to get to enjoy a slice of chocolate merengue pie. 

Such a sweet, sweet memory of Sunday lunches at Aunt Bessie's house and her homemade treat!

Just like our own "Family Meetings", this one also had

a budget report, discussion about the calendar, catching up with each other and food.

It also included some funny stickers to my face in the game I did not win for our community group!

We chose things to do that made us smile thinking of Mom/Gram.

And the togetherness was very good.
