After 16 weeks of her being quarantined in the BEST care facility ever,

I got to bust Aunt Frances out to spend a few hours at the eye doctor!!

We may have had to sneak some snacks under our masks due to the 

extremely long time in the waiting room, but there were plenty of giggles too 

and it was a JOY to see her in real life without a window between us!

One of my greatest and unexpected JOYS of these past few months of COVID-19 Quarantine

has been our Birthday Brigade with these lovely ladies. What started as a way to bring a smile and some cheer to people who were sheltering-in-place on their special day ended up lifting my spirits more than I could have imagined. As the world (or at least our portion of it) has started opening up more, today's serenade marked the end of the official brigades.

 I'm so thankful for these special days with these joy bringers!!
