Three years ago to the day, we were with his family in DC cheering him on

as he played with the Myrtle Beach Pelicans against the Potomac Nationals...

and then today, after a wonderful, long overdue phone call with Mary, 

I got to see him take the mound as a Major League pitcher IN Nationals Park!!

We reminisced about the years of praying for him as he played at Jenks and OSU, 

dreaming of this day..."hey, somebody's kid makes it, it might as well be yours!"
