Tonight I am grateful for such a delightful evening! 

Laughter, some sweet tears too, happy memories, and joy with friends...

Thankful for the volunteer cast, crew, musicians, and directors for sharing their time and

big talents and working so hard to bring this beautiful show to Our Town!!

Emma was so thoughtful and KIND to drive me to Sweetwater today!!

After a productive (and fun!) Enoch merch meeting and some necessary errands,

we were back home with plenty of afternoon to spare. Until...

We realized it was pretty important to go back and look for some keys.

They weren't in the first or second or more places we looked...But God!

They were found!! 

Thank you, nice couple who picked them up and took them to a safe holding place.

Thank you, Sweetwater Creamery for keeping them tucked away until we came looking.

Thank you, sweet ice cream store employee for celebrating God's goodness with me!

Encouraging words were spoken...videos about prayer were shared...

Yummy coffee was consumed...and sunshine was soaked in and savored!!

Rest Day ~ Hallelujah!!

But it was a JOY to do some long distance party planning for our sweet friend!

My answer to Joe and Betty's very warm and loving greeting this morning was,

"Bad. I'm not feeling good. And I'm really grumpy."

Such Dear Ones. Giant hearts who know how to love others well. 

 Betty just hugged me tighter and spoke the sweetest encouraging words to me.

Joe said that's okay, this is a safe place, then handed me this peppermint... 

"Something to sweeten your day..."

And then the worship service began...

Songs were sung...prayers were prayed...The Word was read and taught...

Over and over God poured out HIS MERCY and GRACE on me.

Did my body stop hurting? nope

Did I cry a bucket of tears? yep

Was there "something to sweeten my day" in the morning for me? Yes and Amen! 

We started worship with a well known and loved favorite - "Great is Thy Faithfulness",

then ended with a song new to me, but one I'll surely keep on repeat for a while.
